the rain to wash away the pain....
to wash the dust and make it gleam again...
to bloom the flowers and please the growers...
to refresh the ground and quench the thirst
to wet the ground the lovely sound
the rain the smell it is so sweet
the water drops fall to my feet
the shower, those of blessings
the air new scent, absorb the settings
let the rain pour let it fall
let it wash the earth all in all
let it cause the plants to grow tall
let it keep the sun off the wall
