Come this September 2007, Kenyans in general and Nairobians in particular are in for a big treat. Renowned gospel artist Alvin Slaughter will be jetting in for a series of concerts dubbed the Ultimate Experience.

The Dove award and Stellar nominee will not only be performing live but will also be holding a worship seminar, a must attend for praise and worship teams.

In addition to this, the gospel maestro will perform two live concerts one at the Nairobi Baptist Church on the 15th of September 2007 and at the Nyayo National Stadium on the 16th of September respectively. He will be accompanied by fellow musicians Stephen Patton and Robert Soverall.

Well, it happened, finally, much to the delight of an absolutely jam-packed house at one of the city’s larger venues, the Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC) Karen. And whereas they were expecting to be entertained by this Gospel industry colossus, and his battery of hit singles, including Stand, We Fall Down and The Prayer, the evening absolutely turned on its head. Instead of these radio-friendly cuts that had recently flooded airwaves, it turned out to be an amazingly refreshing evening of sold-out worship and adoration. And what an evening!

Earth tremors in Kenya!!!!!!!!!

This is an article from the local newspaper:

• "Successive earth tremors tore through various parts of the country causing panic among residents.
  The tremors, which hit the country at different times on Saturday and yesterday, were aftershocks of an earthquake whose epicentre was traced to northeastern Tanzania and measured between 4.5 and 5.4 on the Richter scale.
  
  According to the U.S. Geological Survey Information Centre, the Saturday's tremor measured 4.5 on Richter scale, while that one that shook the country yesterday hit 5.4. The agency said the Sunday tremor took place at around 2.24pm local time, while the Saturday one took place at 3.23pm local time.
  The U.S.-based organisation said the location of both tremors was in an area between 2.683 degrees south and 36.172 degrees east and occurred about 10km underground.

  The tremor was felt in three provinces of Nairobi, Central and Eastern and occurred in intervals of between five and 10 minutes.
  Frightened residents inundated the Nation switchboard with calls, fearing a much stronger earthquake might occur.
  In Nairobi, the tremor shook several buildings, including the Nation Centre, which houses the Nation Media Group.
  At Nation Centre, the tremor was felt shortly after 2pm.
  Prof Isaac Nyambok, a Geology lecturer at the University of the Nairobi, said Kenya was more prone to tremors than earthquakes as the tectonic plates in the region were pulling apart rather than moving over each other."

So Kenya is more prone to tremors than earthqauakes the experts say.........

Its not that I don’t care about you but its cause I believe in miracles and sometimes they come when we least expect.

I really want you to be there as I tie the knot cause you are among my friends that are really special.



First you guys have to forgive me for not updating you sooner, but I think it's the right time for me to announce the good news.



We are tying the knot!It was actually planned for November 24 2007. But due to opposition from all sides, many people think it has happened too fast!! the date has been tentatively moved to early next year . I understand very well that you all would be in a great awe and shock, but yes it is. Everything happened so fast! Below are some pictures as we plan to tie the knot. Will keep you posted on further happenings.

When Don found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed a woman to enjoy it with.

So one evening he went to a singles bar where he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away.

"I may look like just an ordinary man," he said as he walked up to her,"but in just a week or two, my father will die, and I'll Inherit 20 million dollars."

I know most of y'all don't even know what fourteen falls is......no its not a place where you can fall 14 times or that has 14 huge steps.........

14 falls could make it to be a wonder of the world if well taken care of....

So you want the description of 14 falls...OK OK......

I took the liberty of checking it up in Google (for a more scientific definition) and this is what it said:

"Fourteen Falls is located about 65 km away from Nairobi off Thika-Garissa Road turning at Makutano junction. The falls derive the name from their fourteen successive falls of water along the famous Athi River, border between Thika and Machakos districts. There is a lot to see and do while in this scenic site like boating, fishing, photography, plant identification, bird watching among other activities."

So there you have it, fourteen falls......and it is a beautiful site i must say......save for the very brown water and all.......

There is this crew that I went with to 14 falls......they are the best........we ate, drank and definately had lots of fun.....:-)

Then the rock that we climbed were extraordinary...........they were sharp, high and dangerous....

But despite the rocks, we adventured, we journeyed, we trekked across the great falls, through the water and over the rocks.......

We then went ahead to test outr limits by walking across the falls........





The water was definately deep......




Ok so that was the fourteen falls experience........i hope you enjoyed it as much as i did....
